Traverse City Area Public Schools, in partnership with a caring
community, has created a place where the extraordinary staff and
students work together with high levels of collaboration and high
quality educational programs. Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS)
offers a comprehensive K-12 curriculum with an enrollment of over 10,000
students throughout a 300-mile geography and nearly 1,500 teaching and
support staff. District school facilities include 13 elementary schools

TC Christian Elementary is a non-denominational Christian school
that teaches the Bible. We have been building lives of integrity since
1979 as Living God Christian School. On July 1, 2005 we became a
parent-based Association and changed our name to Cornerstone Christian
School. As of March of 2008, our elementary school Parent Association
voted to merge with Traverse City Christian School, a 7th-12th Grade
school, to form a Pre-School thru Grade 12 School Association, in order
to enhance Christian Education in the Grand Traverse Area.

At Immaculate Conception Elementary School, students enter as
dependent Third graders and leave as capable, independent Fifth graders.
It is here that the students make the transition from learning to read,
to reading to learn! We foster a true feeling of belonging with
emphasis on Christian values, respect and school spirit. A diverse
curriculum that ranges from Saxon mathematics to writing workshops with
nationally recognized authors, is offered at all grade levels. Students
are given a solid foundation in core academic subjects as well as
